I started out in publishing, moonlighted as a virtual assistant, and figured out pretty quickly that I loved running the whole operation more than any single task.
Today I work with established business owners who've taken things as far as they can being the only one in charge. I step in as their business manager. I plan, I manage the projects, I figure stuff out, and I bring in the right people from my team so everyone stays in their zone of genius.
After almost a decade of doing this, what I'm proudest of is that most of my clients stick around for years, and nearly all of them found me through a referral.
